Classification scope and review notes

Selected subclasses cover documented linear algebra, summary statistics, random numbers, strings, containers, sorting and error handling. A and C remain broad pending a pinned-routine inventory.

Package dependencies

Resolved GitHub repositories used by the verified playground build, combining direct and indirect dependencies. This list does not describe internal module dependencies or native system libraries.

Reviewed procedures

These mappings have pinned source evidence. A checked package example may exercise only some of them; source review is not a numerical benchmark.

sort

Module: stdlib_sorting

N6

N6: verified

Derivatives / callbacks: not applicable

Ordering array values; not statistical inference. Dedicated N6 driver checks ascending/descending integer and finite-real arrays, repeated/negative values, idempotence, an independently histogram-sorted 64-element reference, and empty/singleton inputs. NaN ordering and stability are not validated.

Pinned source: src/stdlib_sorting.F90

Author examples/tests: test/test_sorting.F90

random_seed

Module: stdlib_random

L6c

L6c: verified

Derivatives / callbacks: not applicable

Seeds the stdlib distribution stream, demonstrated through dist_rand integer draws. This is separate from intrinsic RANDOM_NUMBER. The driver checks exact reseeded replay, consistent opaque get output, and changed output for a second selected seed; get is not treated as an original-seed echo or complete generator checkpoint.
