Reviewed procedures

These mappings have pinned source evidence. A checked package example may exercise only some of them; source review is not a numerical benchmark.

arithmetic_spacing, geometric_spacing

Module: pointsets

R

R: verified

Derivatives / callbacks: not applicable

Deterministic grid generation; these procedures are not random-number generators. Dedicated R consumer checks 20 arithmetic and 80 geometric grids against real64 closed-form references using 32 working-kind epsilons as tolerance. Increasing/decreasing/equal endpoints and strict ordering for nondegenerate grids are checked. At this pin wp is real32; ratios of one or less than/equal zero and arrays shorter than two are documented/tested as unchanged-array guards, not filled grids. Random point routines, large grids, extreme ratios and near-unit-ratio stability are not verified.

random_spacing

Module: pointsets

L6

L6: verified

Derivatives / callbacks: not applicable

Random coordinates from normalized uniform increments, with fixed interval endpoints; not uniform coordinates or uniform order statistics. For three points the interior coordinate is U/(U+V), with CDF 1/6 at 1/4. The checked driver verifies that construction and law, replay, interval handling and empty/singleton no-ops. No statistical-quality guarantee follows.
