G2i

G2i: verified

Derivatives / callbacks: none

Genetic global optimization on bounded search variables; no guarantee of finding the global optimum. Dedicated G2i driver checks the 2D nonconvex Rastrigin problem on [-2,2]^2 for three explicit seeds, population 100 and 600 generations. Known global solution/objective, bounds and independently recomputed fitness are checked. Finite fixed-seed success is not a guarantee of global convergence or accuracy on other problems.
