GNU 16 compilation initially stopped in gtk-hl-dialog.f90 because f_c_string was resolved as a function rather than the legacy subroutine alias. Eleven checksum-guarded call-name replacements use the equivalent convert_f_string generic already provided by gtk_sup, matching current upstream spelling; arguments and implementations are unchanged. The unpatched diagnostic is retained. This release targets GTK 4.18.4/GLib 2.84.1 and is linked against pinned Debian GTK 4.18.6, with Cairo 1.18.4.
