Classification scope and review notes

Runtime assertion checks in pure procedures, built with ASSERTIONS=1 so enforcement is enabled in the cached library. A checksum-guarded manifest edit adds the upstream include directory; library sources and headers are unchanged. The main checks preconditions and postconditions around a pure square-root function. A separate sandbox probe compiles successfully, intentionally calls assert(.false.), and verifies nonzero termination with the expected descriptive diagnostic and unchanged library artifacts, demonstrating that checks were not compiled away. Multi-image/coarray callbacks and every macro variant are not validated. Full current upstream license terms, including its enhancement-contribution provision, are retained under LicenseRef-Berkeley-Assert rather than labeling them as an unmodified standard BSD license.

These selected builds include this repository directly or indirectly. Each link to source identifies the revision that build uses.

Reviewed procedures

These mappings have pinned source evidence. A checked package example may exercise only some of them; source review is not a numerical benchmark.
